Refund Request Policy

Refunds are available to KIDSPORTS patrons based on the guidelines outlined below. Please read through all the guidelines before filling out the information on the reverse side of this form and turning it into the KIDSPORTS office. Since the amount of money returned is based upon when KIDSPORTS receives the request, it is important to file the refund request as soon as possible. In all instances the date received will trigger the appropriate refund category.

YOU WILL BE REFUNDED UNDER THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES

REFUNDS BEFORE the first practice will be charged a $5.00 administrative service fee.

REFUNDS AFTER the first practice and before the first game will be charged a $10.00 administrative service fee.

AFTER GAMES START: Refunds will only be given for medical reasons. When granted, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded. Refunds filed for anything other than medical reasons, will not be accepted after games start.

TEAM FORMATION: Since KIDSPORTS pledges to form a team for your child at their school or at a neighboring school, refunds will not be granted automatically simply because your child's school is combined with another school. Refunds will be considered if your school was combined with a non-neighboring school that is an inconvenient distance from your house. If parents are dissatisfied with the team-split, they are only eligible for a refund under the refund guidelines.

NO TEAM: If KIDSPORTS is unable to place a child on a team at the school that he or she attends, or in combination with a neighboring school, a full refund will be given.

MEDICAL REASONS: Any player that sustains an injury which results in a doctor's recommendation not to play will be considered a Medical Refund. All medical refund requests must be accompanied by a note from the doctor. Participants who can't play due to injury during the first three weeks of games can request a 50% refund.

TACKLE FOOTBALL REFUNDS - A maximum $90.00 refund will be available to participants who request a refund for any reason after their child has been issued equipment and before the team's firstgame. After the firstgame and before the fourth game, players can request a 50% refund for medical reasons only.
