There are multiple ways that KIDSPORTS can assist in making sure all kids that want to play can participate financially:

SCHOLARSHIPS / FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

• 1/3 or 2/3 off, based on Reduced/Free lunch qualifications

•  Individual Scholarships
  (Apply at the Eugene KIDSPORTS office)

•  Adopt-A-School Scholarships
  (Vouchers available at child’s school)

• 3rd Child Discount
  ($15 total for third child during same sports season, for any sport)

• Payment Deferment Plan
  (1/2 down at time of registration and then up to 3 payments after the fact)

NOTE:  Scholarships cover KIDSPORTS registration fees. Additional fees such as equipment, uniforms and OYSA cards for Klassic soccer players, are not covered.

Scholarship Policy

KIDSPORTS uses the same income guidelines for scholarships as the school districts do to determine who receives free and reduced school lunches. If your children are eligible for free or reduced school lunches, they most likely will qualify for a scholarship from KIDSPORTS. Scholarship amounts are either 33% or 67% of the registration fee, excluding the facility fee.

Proof of income OR the award letter for free or reduced school lunches must be provided .

Proof of income may be three months of pay stubs with year to date figures, or a tax statement. The award letter can be obtained from your child’s school, or the school district office. In most cases, they will fax it directly to us. Please call two days after all paperwork is submitted for the remaining amount due. Payment is due on or before the registration deadline.

Your child is not registered until we receive payment. As a result he or she will not appear on the roster, or be eligible to participate in the program until the fees are paid.
