TOT Soccer (3 and 4 year olds)

KIDSPORTS offers a beginning soccer program for 3 and 4 year old boys and girls. Each age group meets seperately once per week for four weeks at convenient locations throughout Eugene and Springfield in each high school area.

Kindergarten & First Grade
3 vs. 3 Micro-Soccer

KIDSPORTS offers the very popular "Micro-Soccer" to kindergarten and first grade students. Teams play two Micro-Soccer games simultaneously on side-by-side fields. This exciting soccer concept lets beginning players learn the basics of the game while having more opportunities to touch the ball. Teams are formed by grade, gender and school. The season consists of seven games and a Jamboree on Sept. 21 in which teams will play two mini-games.

Second & Third Grade 6 vs. 6 Soccer

In second and third grade, teams make the transition from Micro-Soccer to 6 vs. 6 soccer. Each team plays with 5 field players and a goalie. This system is designed to ensure young players have the opportunity to have more touches on the ball and develop a better understanding of the game. The season consists of seven games and a Jamboree on Sept. 21 in which teams will play two mini-games.

TOT Soccer = $30
K-1st grade soccer = $60
2nd grade soccer = $75
3rd grade soccer = $75

Klassic Soccer 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th grades

KIDSPORTS offers competitive youth soccer leagues for fifth through eighth grade teams. Most teams are formed by local soccer groups or coaches who enter the league by paying a team fee. Any interested 4th-8th grader who does not join a team may contact KIDSPORTS for information on teams that need players in their area. Leagues are divided by age, gender and skill. There are between two and three skill levels for each age division. Age divisions are U11 (4th & 5th graders), U12 (6th graders) and U14 (7th & 8th graders). The U11 teams play 8 v 8 on the field, and the U12 & U14 teams play 11 v 11 on the field.
All teams play a preseason seeding jamboree (which includes 6 mini games), nine regular season games and a season ending Soccer Cup (which has a two-game guarantee). So, each team plays the equivalent of 14 full games which is all included in the total team fee for the season.

FEES for fall 2008 Klassic Soccer season are:
U11 (4th-5th graders) = $840/team + $5 per player facility fee + $13 per player OYSA card fee
U12 (6th graders) = $1050/team + $5 per player facility fee + $13 per player OYSA card fee
U14 (7th-8th graders) = $1050/team + $5 per player facility fee + $13 per player OYSA card fee

Also, each coach has to pay a $13 OYSA card fee and submit a coach disclosure form.
THE AVERAGE PER PLAYER COST IS BETWEEN $90-$120 including uniform.
Registration for the team is done by the coach after he/she has collected all of the fees from the players by appointment the week of Aug. 25 - Aug. 27. Contact tome@kidsports.org.
