Kaye was born in Eugene, Oregon and attended St. Francis High School, Seattle University and the University of Oregon. At Oregon she earned her Master’s Degree in Education, and then embarked on a teaching career that included many wonderful years of teaching children, which she loved.
Kaye was an avid Duck basketball, football, and track fan. Kaye, Bob, and her family were tremendous friends and supporters of Kidsports, through participation, coaching, and financial investment.
The family has created the Bob & Kaye Stephenson Memorial Scholarship Fund that will directly help many children to play team sports through scholarship assistance. Kidsports is honored to help keep Bob & Kaye’s legacy alive in Lane County through their memorial scholarship fund.
