Scott Chambers Memorial Scholarship Fund

Scott Chambers was a family man, community volunteer, and business maverick. Scott was a dedicated and committed community member, volunteering to give back to many organizations for the betterment of his hometown, education, and youth sports. He was an integral part of the Chambers Family Foundation quietly giving away more than $15M dollars in grants to local organizations and non-profits.

Among many other activities and achievements, Scott volunteered many hours and years coaching varsity football and track at Pleasant Hill High School. He also dedicated time to the University of Oregon, Kidsports, and the Nature Conservancy.

“Kids would say Scott was an unbelievable influence in their lives. So would adults,” said Pleasant Hill High School principal Randy Fisher. “I work hard to emulate a lot of the things that he’s taught me. A lot of that is around how you treat people, how you give back and give of yourself.”

Scott is survived by his wife, Kellie, three daughters and two granddaughters.
