The FitKids pathway begins with our Mini Movers classes for kids 18 month- 3 year that focus on teaching the fundamental building blocks of movement, along with pro-social and emotional learning skills.
This class will help your child develop fundamental gross motor skills and pro- social skills while gaining confidence and competence in a fun and engaging way.
Each session will focus on introducing and practicing different gross motor skills such as; walking up and down slopes, climbing up and over, catching with 2 hands, jumping with 2 feet, bounce and catching a ball, kicking a ball, etc. Sessions will also include practice pro-social skills such as: focusing, listening to directions, taking turns, communicating, and playing with others.
Adult participation required – one adult per child.
