We want to thank you all for your assistance and support in compliance with the spectator limitations imposed on the games last weekend due to the “Extreme Risk” covid Oregon Health Authority category guidelines. Thank you.
KS understands that the ever changing guidelines are very challenging for families and we attempt to provide as consistent a structure as possible for our families, however, OHA guidelines must be adhered to in order for games to be played.
As you know, Lane County is now entering a one-week period in the ‘High Risk’ covid category starting this Friday 5/7.
In order to comply with the Oregon Health Authority guidelines for high risk counties, there are still important guidelines to adhere to in order for games to be played.
For K-8th grade spring soccer and 3rd-8th grade lacrosse games May 7 thru May 10:
- 2 adult/guardian spectators will be allowed to attend the game with their registered child
- Children 11 and under will also be admitted with the family
- Parents please keep additional family members/siblings with you at all times to ensure they are social distancing from other households and are not accessing other playing fields or areas on the grounds other than the respective area of the registered child.
- All other COVID protocols will be in place including mask compliance for coaches, players, spectators, officials, and as well, social distancing guidelines.
We are hopeful, given the collaborative effort by the community this week, Lane County will continue to stay below the Extreme Risk category for the upcoming weeks.
Thank you again for your cooperation, patience, and understanding,
