Feb. 24th Update:
KIDSPORTS Families,
We hope you are continuing the new year well and staying safe and healthy.
The latest news from the State of Oregon and the Oregon Health Authority offers some improvement for us all and your flexibility, patience, and understanding is greatly appreciated as we attempt to keep you apprised of the continual changes and updates.
Please see below the latest information with regards to next steps and other current KS programming.
RISK CATEGORY UPDATE –
Here is where we are and where we are going as we respond to the challenges created by the State of Oregon and Oregon Health Authority guidelines:
- The State of Oregon announced yesterday, Feb. 23rd, the updates to the county risk levels:https://www.oregon.gov/newsroom/Pages/NewsDetail.aspx?newsid=54225
- As of today, Lane County has moved to the ‘High Risk’ category: https://sharedsystems.dhsoha.state.or.us/DHSForms/Served/le3461.pdf
- As such, limited indoor activities are now allowed again by the State of Oregon’s and OHA’s guidelines through at least Mar. 11th.
- Around Mar. 9th, the Oregon Health Authority data will be re-evaluated to determine Lane County’s risk category designation for the following two weeks.
Upcoming March Clinic PROGRAMMING –
In the meantime, given that limited indoor and outdoor activities are allowed in the High Risk Category, KIDSPORTS is offering a variety of indoor and outdoor activity opportunities in the month of March. Click Here for more info.
Also, registration is open for our spring soccer regular season and lacrosse regular season. The deadline for registration is March 5th.
Again, thank you for your flexibility and patience during these uncertain times,
KIDSPORTS Team
