UPDATE regarding the season:

3rd – 8th Grade Baseball/Softball Season and K – 2 baseball/softball

  • Due to safety and subsequent protocols required for the safe use of both facilities and equipment as well as limited practice and game field availability, we are unable to deliver a 2021 KIDSPORTS 3rd-8th grade baseball/softball regular season.  
  • KS will offer as an alternative to the season, a series of 3rd – 8th grade baseball/softball clinics focusing on individual athletic and sport specific skills of hitting, fielding, throwing, pitching, and base running.  Information & Registration here.
  • For those that have already registered for 3rd-8th grade baseball/softball regular season, we will reach out to offer a choice of a full refund or an account credit to use towards clinics or other future KS programming.
  • K-2nd grade will proceed with a regular season with a limited participation capacity.

As covid guidelines/restrictions evolve, aspects of the season are subject to change leading up to and during the season. Items include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Rules
  • Game/Practice procedures and protocols
  • Maximum allowable capacity at games/practices, including whether or not spectators are allowed to attend
  • Schedules
  • Etc.

If you have a transfer credit from a previous season or you need a scholarship discount applied, first create an account in our new Dash registration system and then contact us (email: info@kidsports.org) so we can make the credit available to you to use to register.
(there is a 25% scholarship discount for those that qualify for free school lunches)

Kindergarten Coed Baseball/Softball

Young ball players and parents alike find T-ball a great experience. The goal of T-ball is to have fun while learning some of the basics of the game. Learning to run, hit and throw while playing in an environment structured to make it possible for each child to experience success, Kidsports T-Ball is a great way to play part of the summer. T-ballers have practices and play 6 games and receive a team t-shirt and hat.

Registration is limited and will close at a maximum of 80 participants. REGISTRATION NOW FULL AND CLOSED.

1st Grade Coed Baseball/Softball

Modified coach pitch is a transition from hitting off a tee to hitting a moving pitch. Participation and skill development is promoted over competition. Kids are given the opportunity to try different positions on the field and everybody bats! Teams have practices and play 6 games and receive a team T-shirt and hat.

Registration is limited and will close at a maximum of 80 participants.

2nd Grade Coed Baseball/Softball

The Coach-Pitch program completes the progression for second graders from hitting off a tee to hitting a pitched ball. Players get five pitches to hit the ball regardless of strikes. All players bat while only ten players are on the field at a time. Players receive a team T-shirt and hat. Teams have practices and play 6 games.

3rd & 4th Grade Baseball

Kidsports offers baseball in the third and fourth grade. The game is played with modified player-pitch rules, where coach-pitch can come into play in certain instances. Kidsports modifies the high school rules to promote participation and athlete development. Players receive a team T-shirt and hat. Regular season consists of practices and 6 games. Teams form by School Area of residence or attendance.

5th & 6th Grade Baseball
